Softball Announces 2025 Schedule; Season Tickets on Sale

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs softball team is gearing up for the 2024 season head coach Frank Reed announced. This year's schedule includes two annual home tournaments, three on the road and 11 home dates at Frost Stadium.
 
The season opens on the road Feb. 7-9 at the Frank Griffin Classic hosted by Stetson University in DeLand, Fla. UTC is slated to take on George Mason, Binghamton and the host Hatters.
 
The next weekend, the Mocs will host North Alabama and Lindenwood in the Chattanooga Challenge Feb. 14-16. Lamar, Illinois State, SEMO and Indiana State are on tap for the annual Frost Classic Feb. 21-23.
 
The Mocs hit the road for "Spring in the Springs" hosted by Gardner-Webb in Boiling Springs, N.C. On the slate for UTC are IU Indy, Stoney Brook and host Bulldogs, Feb. 28 to March 2. Chattanooga heads back to the Sunshine State for The Spring Games at Madeira Beach, Fla., March 7-9. The schedule has yet to be announced.
 
The Mocs have three home-and-home games on the slate. UTC travels to Jacksonville, Ala., on Feb. 26 and host the Gamecocks on April 2. The Mocs will take on Tennessee Tech in Cookeville on March 25 and host the Golden Eagles on March 30. Kennesaw State will make face off against the Mocs at Frost Stadium on March 18 and host UTC on April 23.
 
Chattanooga heads to Atlanta to face off against Georgia State and plays host Lipscomb on April 15 and Tennessee State the next day.
 
Southern Conference action begins March 22 at Frost Stadium against UNC Greensboro in a double header. The series concludes March 23 with one game. Chattanooga also hosts Western Carolina (April 5-6) and Samford (April 26-27). UTC is on the road to Mercer (March 29-30), Furman (April 12-13), Wofford (April 18-19) and close out the season May 3-4 at East Tennessee State.
 
The Southern Conference Tournament is set for Spartanburg, S.C., hosted by Wofford in its second season beginning May 6 and running through May 10.
 
Season tickets are $50 for general admission for all ages. Season tickets include admission to all games of the Chattanooga Challenge and Frost Classic as well as three non-conference games and four three-game Southern Conference series.
 
Tickets may be purchased online at GoMocs.com. Call 423-266-MOCS (6627) for more information. The McKenzie Arena box office opens at 10:00 a.m. Monday through Friday and closes at 5:00 p.m. The ticket booth at Frost Stadium opens 60 minutes prior to the first pitch on game days.
