Women’s Tennis Welcomes Mercer on Saturday in Final Regular Season Match

The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team welcomes the Bears in the regular season finale for both teams on Saturday.

CHATTANOOGA (April 12, 2024) --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team welcomes Mercer in the regular season finale in Southern Conference action on Saturday afternoon at the UTC Tennis Center on campus.
 
The match carries a 2:30 p.m. ET start time and will follow the men's match which begins earlier at 10 a.m. ET. Live video and stats are available at the links below and can also be found on the schedule page at GoMocs.com.
 
PROMOTION – Senior Day. Special trading cards of seniors Caroline Gibbens and Emma Peeler will be available from the marketing table at the entrance of the facility.

Chattanooga (8-12, 1-5 SoCon) is aiming to snap a four-match skid with the previous two matches resulting in tough 4-3 losses at Samford and at home against Western Carolina. The Mocs have dropped its last two against the Bears after rattling off 13-straight wins in the series from 2007-2022.
 
Mercer (12-7, 3-3 SoCon) snapped a three-match SoCon skid with a 7-0 shutout over UNCG last Saturday at home in Macon. The Bears are currently locked with Samford in a tie for fourth place in the league standings at 3-3.
