The two teams were set to meet on March 5 in Chattanooga, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather forecast for the area.

This will be the 25th meeting between Chattanooga and Georgia State. UTC has won the last four games including a double header in Atlanta last year. The Mocs snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Panthers with a double header win at home in 2022.

CAMRYN CERNUTO HITTING STREAK HALTED AT 13 GAMES

Camryn Cernuto's 13-game hit streak came to an end Sunday against Furman. She hit .512 (22-for-43) over the three week span. She drove in six runs and scored 10, had two triples and a double. She swiped three bases, had four sacrifice hits, struck out four times and drew three walks.

OLIVIA LIPARI ON 23-GAME STREAK FOR REACHING BASE
• Junior
Olivia Lipari is on a 23-game on base streak dating back to the start of Southern Conference play at Samford. She is hitting .382 in the run and has 26 hits in 17 of the games, has 12 walks in nine games and was hit by a pitch to reach in one. The infielder has six doubles, one triple and two homeruns in the streak.

CERNUTO RANKED SECOND IN NCAA FOR SACRIFICE BUNTS PER GAME
• Junior
Camryn Cernuto is ranked second in the NCAA for sacrifice bunts per game and leads the Southern Conference. She has 17 on the year and 0.36 per game.

JAYCE PURDY RANKED IN NCAA FOR CAUGHT STEALING
• Junior catcher
Jayce Purdy has shown off her canon a few times this season. She is ranked 11th in the NCAA for caught stealing with 14. She leads the Southern Conference with one more than Samford's Logan Champion.

PHILLIPS HOLDS CHATTANOOGA LEAD FOR HIT BY PITCH
• Senior
Kaili Phillips took over the Mocs career hit by pitch record in just two seasons with 33 at the end of 2023. She owns the single-season mark as well with 18 in 2022. She was hit twice in the season-opening tournament in Lafayette, La., this year and twice more in the Chattanooga Challenge. She is now up to a SoCon-leading 15 on the year and 48 over her career at UTC. She is currently ranked 12th in the NCAA.
• Combined with her time at Tennessee, she ranks second on the NCAA active career leaders list for hit by pitch with 58. Lily Fischer (Murray State) holds the lead with 69.

PHILLIPS AND LAVDIS SWEEP WEEKLY AWARDS
•
Kaili Phillips was named the SoCon Player of the Week for all games played April 22-28 and
Alyssa Lavdis earned SoCon Pitcher of the Week honors.
• Phillips hit .400 (4-10) for the week with all four hits leaving the park. She drove in seven RBI, slugged 1.600 and had a .455 on-base percentage. She drove in two runs in the Mocs extra-inning win at Tennessee State on a home run in the second, had two solo home runs in a 3-0 win over Furman and belted a three-run shot to give UTC a 10-0 lead in the fourth of a run-rule win over the Paladins.
• Lavdis recorded two wins, struck out 10 batters and didn't allow Furman a hit in Sunday's finale. She recorded a 0.89 ERA for the week and went two complete games.
