Chattanooga (8-10, 1-3 SoCon) enters Thursday's match looking to snap a two-dual skid with consecutive losses at Presbyterian and Furman last Friday and Saturday. The Mocs currently sit in a two-way tie with UNCG for sixth in the league standings with three conference duals remaining.
Samford (6-10, 2-2 SoCon) has won its last three matches with home wins over Western Kentucky and Western Carolina while recording a road win at Wofford in the middle of the stretch. The Bulldogs currently sit alone in third place in the SoCon standings, a match up in the loss column on Wofford, Mercer, Chattanooga and UNCG.
