Women’s Tennis Hosts Western Carolina on Sunday Morning

The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team will celebrate “50 Seasons of Greatness” during Sunday’s SoCon tilt.

CHATTANOOGA (April 6, 2024) --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team is set to host Western Carolina in a Southern Conference dual on Sunday morning at the UTC Tennis Center on campus while celebrating "50 Seasons of Greatness" during the contest.
 
First serve is slated for 10 a.m. ET and will carry live video and live stats. Links for both coverages are located below and also on the schedule page at GoMocs.com.
 
PROMOTION – The match will recognize and celebrate "50 Seasons of Greatness" as the women's tennis program, along with women's basketball and volleyball, are in their 50th seasons following the adoption of the Title IX legislature in 1972.

Chattanooga (8-11, 1-4 SoCon) enters the match looking to snap a three-match skid and aiming to improve on its current seventh-place position in the league standings. The Mocs are 37-2 all-time against the Catamounts and carry a 19-0 record at home during the span of the series' history.
 
Western Carolina (8-13, 0-6 SoCon) will conclude its regular season with Sunday's contest as the squad continues its search for their first league win of the season. WCU has accounted for two or more team points in each of its last four matches despite suffering defeats in all four.
