COLUMBIA, Mo.---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team is 13th after 36 holes Monday at the Tiger Collegiate Invitational. The Mocs opened with 299 before coming back with 281 in the afternoon. The 580 total is four shots out of the top 10.
 
Garrett Engle had the low score among the starters for both 18s. He turned in 2-over 73 early and came back with 2-under 69 in the afternoon for a level-par 142 total. His morning card was supported by Samuel Espinosa's 74 and 76s by John Houk and Paul Conroy.
 
The latter round saw Espinosa etch 70 next to Engle's 69. Houk and Conroy came in at even with 71s. Ward Harris had the drop score in both 18s with 79 and 72. Espinosa is two behind Engle with 144. Houk and Conroy are tied with 147 in front of Harris' 151.
 
Braedon Wear is the low playing as an individual. He started with 75 before firing 66 in the afternoon. That puts him tied for 19th at 1 under (141).
 
Central Arkansas (553) has the team lead by five over San Francisco (558). Missouri's Jack Lundin and Stetson's Dominic Clemons are tied for the individual lead at 8 under (134).
