CHATTANOOGA (January 24, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team will continue the spring season with another pair of matches on consecutive days beginning with a neutral Saturday match against Louisville before finishing the weekend with a Sunday match at Middle Tennessee.
Saturday's start time is still to be announced, depending on when Louisville's match against Middle Tennessee finishes, and Sunday's action will begin at 11 a.m. Both matches will be held at Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Scouting Chattanooga
After opening with a 7-0 loss to UNC Asheville, Chattanooga bounced back to win 5-2 in an exhibition match against Lee University for their first win of the season. The Mocs had a strong showing in singles play with
Emma Pedretti,
Margaret Manolache, and
Alice Hall helping to put UTC ahead 3-1 before
Savannah Presson clinched the match with a fourth singles win.
Scouting Louisville
Louisville is coming off a 7-0 win against UNC Greensboro to kick off the new season in contrast to the 2024 season, which saw them post a 4-19 overall record and go 0-13 in conference play. The two teams haven't met since January 30, 2005, when the Cardinals bested the Mocs 6-1.
Scouting Middle Tennessee
Middle Tennessee finished 2024 with a 11-13 overall record and had a 3-3 mark in conference matchups. The Blue Raiders are coming into the weekend 0-2 on the season after two opening losses to Florida Gulf Coast and Minnesota. Middle Tennessee won 6-1 last time they played the Mocs on January 20, 2024.

Chattanooga will get ready for two more consecutive matches with the first coming next Friday (January 31) and the latter on Saturday (February 1).
