CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga men's and women's cross country teams are on the road to the Georgia Tech Invitational Friday morning at the Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, Ga. The men's 8,000 kilometer race begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by the women's 6K race.

Jack Martin,
Derek Mitchell and
Ian Etheridge led the Mocs at the Southern Showcase in Huntsville, Ala., last month while
Maddie Wheatcroft,
Leah Boyd, newcomer
Liv Gould along with
Andrea Ellis led the women.

Martin posted the top time for the men at just over 25 minutes while Mitchell, Etheridge,
Andrew Moore and
Cash Coggin all set PRs. The Southern Showcase was the first collegiate race for Gould while
Audrey Wade and
Taylor Crawford posted career-best times.

While the men are running a traditional 8-kilometer race, the women's course covers a longer than traditional 6-kilometers.
