CHATTANOOGA (October 27, 2025) – Despite rain shortening a few matches on the final day of action on Sunday, the Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team hosted yet another successful UTC Steve Baras Fall Invite this past weekend at Champions Club in the nearby Rivermont area of Chattanooga.
 
The three-day event featured six flights of singles play and four flights of doubles action including a "SoCon Flight" which featured competitors from fellow league members. Chattanooga combined for 13 victories during the event between both singles and doubles play.
 
Martin Delnido advanced to the semifinal round of the SoCon Flight in singles after securing an opening round 2-6, 6-4, 10-4, win over Mercer's Nemanja Stefanovic and a quarterfinal victory over Samford's Darcy Nicholls by a 2-6, 6-4, 10-8, count. He earned third-place status in the flight by default due to an opponent retiring (injury).
