Chattanooga Mocs Men's Golf Coach
Blaine Woodruff announces the signing of two to the 2026-27 roster. The signing period began on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and the additions are a stark contrast in distance.
The duo includes a Tennessee native and a Scottish national. The Mocs have always recruited the state well with three in-state players currently on the roster. Scotland was once a fertile ground as well for Mocs with the likes of All-American Chris Robb '13, Liam Johnston '15, Ewan Scott and Will Porter '20 coming through the program in the 2010s.
Carter Graham | Brentwood, Tenn. (Brentwood Academy)
- No. 1 ranked player in the state. Top 40 nationally for his recruiting class (No. 36) and 52nd ranked overall.
- 2024 TSSAA High School Champion
- 2025 Sea Pines Junior Heritage Champion
- 3-time member of Tennessee Junior Cup squad
- Selected as one of eight members of Team Tennessee for the USGA's 2026 US National Development Program

"It's exciting for the second year in a row to have the best player in the state of Tennessee come to Chattanooga. He's tall and athletic, and I've been very impressed with how much he has improved over the last couple years. He shares the values and passions of the guys on our team already. He's very competitive and just wants to see how good he can get and won't be outworked by anyone." –

Coaches Corner
"CJ comes from a golf family with twin brothers currently playing for Duke. From our very first conversation, I felt like we really connected, and it was a relationship that only grew. He's going to thrive in our system. He's got a contagious positive energy about him that mixes perfectly with his grit and competitiveness. The podium finishes in South Africa, Scotland and England shows that his game travels, and I think he will continue to develop that even more. Can't wait to get him here." –
