The Chattanooga Mocs matched up against tough competition in the "Uncivil War" at Hannibal High School in Hannibal, Mo. The Mocs dropped matches to Utah Valley and No. 4 Iowa on Friday night.

The Breakdown

• The Mocs captured one of the 10 matches with Utah Valley. Seven of the 10 matches could've gone either way with decisions.
• The win went to Mason Reiniche with a 5-3 decision over Zyon Trujillo. He took control of the match with a second period takedown before controlling the third.
• Chattanooga won two in the matchup with the Hawkeyes. The highlight came at 133. Redshirt freshman Bryce Luna earned a 4-1 win over NCAA qualifier Joey Cruz. The two went toe-to-toe over six-and-a-half minutes before Luna got his takedown with 25 seconds remaining and riding him out for the win.
• Ethan Vergara earned his win in the final match of the day. He controlled Iowa junior Easton Fleshman in a 4-2 victory. He got his takedown in the first period and only allowed just two escapes to his opposition.
• Vergara now leads the squad with seven wins on the campaign.
