ABOUT CHATTANOOGA (7-7)
The Mocs have won their last five games that included a four-game sweep of UTC's annual Frost Classic. Olivia Lipari leads the team at the plate with a .436 batting average. She has three home runs, including two against IU Indy on Sunday, five doubles and 14 runs batted in. She's drawn a team-high 10 walks and has a .549 on-base percentage. Acelynn Sellers leads the Southern Conference with seven home runs, has a team-best 19 runs batted in and a .419 batting average. She has five doubles and a 1.023 slugging percentage. Kailey Snell leads the Mocs with four sacrifice hits and has a .391 batting average that includes three doubles.
 
In the circle, Peja Goold has a 2.80 earned run average. She's made six starts with seven appearances, four complete games and two shutouts. In 35 innings pitched, she has a team-best 42 strikeouts and a .213 opponent batting average.
 
Overall, UTC is hitting .302 with 13 home runs, 21 doubles and two triples. The Mocs have turned four double plays and have a .970 fielding percentage. UTC's pitching staff has a combined 4.56 ERA and 85 strikeouts.
 
ABOUT JACKSONVILLE STATE (9-5)
The Gamecocks are hitting .272 as a group and holding opponents to .208. The team has combined for 33 extra base hits including 10 home runs and 21 doubles with 64 runs batted in. The pitching staff has a combined 1.64 ERA with 76 strikeouts through 94 innings.
 
Kat Carter leads the team with a 5-0 record and a 0.78 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 36 innings pitched. She has five complete games in six appearances. Jaliyah Holmes is second on the team at 2.59 with 21 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched. She is 1-2 on the year and MacKinley Portillo is 2-1 with a 1.75 ERA in three appearances.
 
At the plate, Emma Elrod is hitting a team-best .365 with four home runs and 13 RBI.Morgan Nowakowski is hitting .357 with 10 runs batted in and two doubles. Elrod is 3-for-3 in steals as is Jaci Underwood.

The Mocs will hit the road for the next two weekends in back-to-back tournaments.

UTC will head to Boiling Springs, N.C., for the Spring in the Springs Feb. 28 through March 2 to take on IU Indy, Stony Brook and host Gardner-Webb.

The Mocs will hit the road for a single game at Georgia State in Atlanta. The game starts at 4 p.m.
 
Make it Happen Games (March 7 – 9)
Chattanooga returns to Florida for the Make it Happen Games in Madeira Beach. UTC will take on Siena (2), Niagara, Central Michigan and LIU.
 
Kennesaw State (March 18)
Chattanooga returns to Frost Stadium for the first time since the Frost Classic concluded on Feb. 23.
