CHATTANOOGA (February 7, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team will host Eastern Kentucky in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon in the first of four straight home matches for the squad.
Saturday's match is slated for a 1 p.m. start and will be held at the UTC Tennis Center on Campus, weather permitting. The alternative match location is at the Strang-Voges Tennis Center on the campus of McCallie School. The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team will play Eastern Kentucky Saturday morning before the women's match at 10 a.m.

Scouting Chattanooga
Chattanooga split last weekend's matches with a 5-1 loss to Southern Mississippi and a 6-1 win against Northwestern State. Despite losing, the Mocs fought hard against Southern Mississippi in singles action after losing the doubles point. The match against Northwestern State was a different story, and Chattanooga came out on top after all six singles matches went to three sets in a four-hour battle.
Scouting Eastern Kentucky
Eastern Kentucky comes into the weekend 4-5 overall after dropping a pair of 4-0 matches to Kentucky. In 2024, they went 9-18 overall and posted a 2-8 record in conference play. The Mocs won 6-1 in their last meeting with the Colonels on February 4, 2024.
