Cross Country Heads to Southern Showcase Friday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga men's and women's cross country teams make their way to Huntsville, Ala., for the Southern Showcase hosted by Jacksonville State at Hunt Park. This meet serves as a preview for the NCAA South Region Championships to be run at Hunt Park on November 14.

THE MOCS
Derek Mitchell led the Mocs in the season opener at Tennessee. All-Conference performer Jack Martin is expected to take the course.
• Freshman Bella King stepped up to lead UTC at the Tennessee Invitational. Veterans Leah Boyd, Lexi Foley and Andrea Ellis will make their season debut.

"We are looking forward to having the full team racing Friday in Huntsville. We will have some great competition with many of the top team in the South region racing tomorrow."
