PREVIEW: Mocs Face Strong Challenge at Tarleton State

Ryan Ingram and the Chattanooga Mocs have a strong final traveling to the last non-conference opponent of the regular season, third-ranked Tarleton State.

First Look
It's the final non-conference weekend of the regular season for the Chattanooga Mocs. This week is a trip to Texas for the first time since 2016 for a matchup with third-ranked Tarleton State.
 
The Mocs are coming off a 63-0 win over Stetson in the home opener. It a huge win on the scoreboard as well as in a locker room that lifted the team to 1-2. The Texans enter at 4-0 after a 56-10 triumph at Central Arkansas last weekend.
 
Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m., Eastern time, broadcasting on ESPN+ as well as the Mocs Sports Network on WFLI in Chattanooga, on GoMocs.com online as well as the Varsity Network app.

  • 2nd ranked opponent of season (@Tennessee Tech). Last ranked road win? 17-10 at No. 23 ETSU last October. Last top 20 road win? No. 13 Austin Peay, 24-21 playoff win on Nov. 25, 2023. 3-2 in last five ranked road games. 4-4 under Wright on the road against FCS ranked squads.
