CHATTANOOGA (September 18, 2025) – The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team looks to continue its momentum with the final non-conference tournament of the 2025 campaign this weekend at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Tennessee State in Nashville, Tennessee.
The tournament runs from Thursday, September 18 through Saturday, September 20 at TSU. The field consists of Chattanooga (4-5), Tennessee State (1-7), Indiana State (3-6) and Idaho (2-7).
All matches on the weekend will feature live scoring/stats ONLY. Matches will not be available on live stream. Check GoMocs.com and the volleyball schedule page for the most updated coverage information.

Mocs Bounce Back in Memphis, Close With Two Wins
Chattanooga (4-5) snapped a four-match skid with a pair of tournament-ending victories last Friday over Lamar (W, 3-0) and UT Martin (W, 3-1). The Mocs opened the event with a back-and-forth battle against host Memphis (L, 1-3), a match that required extra points in all four sets. The Mocs are now a perfect 4-0 in neutral site matchups this season.
Jackwin, Kirkendoll Named to Memphis All-Tournament Team
The strong attacking and blocking duo of
Sydney Jackwin and
Kynli Kirkendoll were named to the Carrie Yerty Classic All-Tournament Team after dazzling last weekend in Memphis. Jackwin finished the weekend with 47 kills (4.27/set) at a .254 clip while adding 31 digs, six blocks and six aces. Kirkendoll racked up 24 blocks (2.18/set) in the three matches while adding 25 kills at an efficient .417 attacking percentage.

Chattanooga, Tennessee State, Idaho and Indiana State make up the field at this weekend's Tiger Invitational held in Nashville, Tennessee, hosted by Tennessee State. UTC has brief history with Idaho and Indiana State as the matchups mark the second-ever meetings against both programs while the meeting with TSU is the 13th all-time.
