CHATTANOOGA (January 20, 2026) --- In a clash of red-hot rivals, the Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team welcomes Southern Conference leader ETSU for a nationally televised contest on Wednesday evening inside McKenzie Arena. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. (ET) on ESPNU.

Chattanooga (9-10, 3-3 SoCon) heads into the rivalry riding a three-game win streak following victories over league foes Samford, Wofford and Western Carolina during a 10-day span. ETSU (13-6, 5-1 SoCon) sits atop the SoCon standings by a single game over Furman, Mercer and Wofford and currently boasts the league's second-best NET ranking (129), trailing only Mercer (127) who sits two spots ahead.

• Chattanooga (9-10, 3-3 SoCon) earned its third-straight win with a 90-82 road victory at Western Carolina on Saturday... UTC erased a double-digit deficit for the second-straight game... Mocs shot 64.3% (18-28) from the field and 66.7% (10-15) from 3FG in the second half alone.
 
ETSU SCOUT
• ETSU (13-6, 5-1 SoCon) enters Wednesday's as the SoCon leaders by one game over Furman, Mercer & Wofford... coming off a wild 76-75 win at Samford on Saturday... Bucs made a second-chance layup with less than two seconds to win... Samford had taken the lead just five seconds prior.
• ETSU has played to a dominating 10-1 record at home this season... on the flip side, the Bucs are just 3-5 on the road this season and has dropped four of its last six... the lone SoCon loss came at rival Western Carolina last Wednesday... fell 72-68 to the Catamounts.
