CHATTANOOGA (January 9, 2026) --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team returns to action at home with a Saturday afternoon matchup against Southern Conference foe Samford inside McKenzie Arena. Tip-off is slated for 4:30 p.m. (ET) on Nexstar/ESPN+.

Tickets can be purchased HERE in advance or by calling/visiting the McKenzie Arena Box Office at (423) 266-MOCS (6627) during business hours of M-F, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (ET). The men's contest will follow the women's matchup against Furman which tips off at 2 p.m. (ET).
 
Chattanooga (6-10, 0-3 SoCon) is looking to snap a three-game skid to open SoCon play following Wednesday's tough 78-67 loss to Furman inside the Roundhouse. It's just the fifth time starting a fresh SoCon slate 0-3 in 49 seasons in the league for the program as the squad will look to avoid its third-ever 0-4 start with Samford (9-7, 2-1 SoCon) coming to town.

• Chattanooga (6-10, 0-3 SoCon) dropped its third-straight SoCon contest to begin the season after a 78-67 loss to Furman on Wednesday... UTC was a bit shorthanded with F Collin Mulholland and F Sebastian Hartmann both missing action due to injury.

• Samford (9-7, 2-1 SoCon) is coming off an 82-77 home victory over Western Carolina on Wednesday... Bulldogs opened conference play with a 78-58 win at VMI before falling 89-82 at UNCG last week... Samford has won five of its last six games dating back to December 7.
