CHATTANOOGA (February 19, 2026) – The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team travels south to Louisiana for a pair of first-ever meetings against Southern and Southeastern Louisiana on Friday and Saturday, respectively, in non-conference action.
Chattanooga will face Southern on Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. (ET) in Baton Rouge, La., before making its way to Hammond, La., for a Saturday afternoon tilt at Southeastern Louisiana. Both matchups mark the first-ever meetings against the two Louisiana-based programs.
"It's great for the team to get an opportunity to play some different programs here in Louisiana," said head coach
Chad Camper.
"Getting back outside and playing in the outdoor elements is much needed after the winter and early spring months."

Chattanooga (5-1) has won five of its first six matches of the season after claiming a dominating 7-0 shutout over Tennessee State last Sunday at the Strang-Voges Tennis Center. About Southern
Southern (0-2) has dropped its first two matches of the season with the last coming on February 8 against soon-to-be common opponent Southeastern Louisiana. The Jags opened the season with a 4-0 road loss at Louisiana before seeing its next two scheduled matches against Tulane and LSU postponed/canceled leading up to its tilt against SLU.
About Southeastern Louisiana
Southeastern Louisiana (6-1) opened its 2026 campaign with six-straight wins before suffering a 4-0 defeat at Florida Gulf Coast on Monday. The Lions had dropped just a combined three team points during the six-match winning streak to begin the year with four of the six wins coming on home surface.
