CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs soccer team opens up the 2026 season Wednesday, August 12 at Finley Stadium against system-foe UT Martin.

CHATTANOOGA vs. UT MARTIN
The Mocs lead the series 5-3-2 dating back to 1998. At home, Chattanooga is 4-1-1 against the Skyhawks.
 
LAST TIME THEY MET
The last time the two programs met was in 2017 at Martin. The two teams battled to a 2-2 double overtime draw. The Mocs scored two first half goals for an early lead but conceded a pair in the second, including the game winner in the 88^th minute. Catherine Meyer's shot in the 107^th minute was saved by UTM to keep the game even.

RULING ON ELIGIBILITY
As of August 2026, a federal court has granted a class-wide preliminary injunction requiring the NCAA to allow 2021-22 high school graduates (Class of 2022) a fifth year of eligibility for the 2026-27 season if they exhausted their four seasons of eligibility this past spring.
 
Caroline Ekern initially returned for a graduate assistant position with the soccer team, but due to this ruling was able to rejoin the Mocs as a keeper in her fifth season.
