Press Conference Tuesday Ahead Saturday in the Low Country

Junior guard Nick Paul was joined by cornerback Keyshawn Jackson and Coach Rusty Wright as the Chattanooga Mocs held their weekly press conference ahead of Saturday’s trip to The Citadel.
The Chattanooga Mocs football team continues its trip through the Southern Conference on Saturday at The Citadel. It's the first of back-to-back road games for the Mocs who are tied with Furman and Tennessee Tech atop the league standings at 1-0. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m., at Johnson Hagood Stadium in Charleston, S.C., broadcasting on ESPN+ as well as over the airwaves on the Mocs Sports Network.

Every Tuesday during game weeks this season, the Mocs hold a press conference with coverage from the Times Free Press, Channels 3, 9 & 12, along with WUTC radio and various radio and television talents. This week featured Coach Rusty Wright leading off followed by guard Nick Paul and cornerback Keyshawn Jackson.
Paul is one of the longest-tenured Mocs starters. He and safety Kam Baah-Slay are up to 16 with all coming in succession over the last two seasons. Paul and fellow junior Watts Alexander graded highest in an impressive week for the line as the Mocs rolled up 310 rushing yards with 53 of the 60 snaps coming in the ground game.
Jackson is off to a strong start in his first season as a starter. He has been impactful in coverage as well as the run game. Jackson is third on the team with 19 tackles and is one of the country's top coverage guys in passes defended with six breakups.
