PRIOR TO UTC:  Three-year starter on both the offensive and defensive line for Marietta (Ga.) High School ... played for head coach Scott Burton ... three-time all-region and two-time All-Cobb County ... played all five positions on the offensive line ... also lettered in track & field and wrestling ... runner-up in Cobb County in wrestling ... second in the region in the discus (145’1”) and third in the shotput (48’3”) as a senior.
