2009 • SENIOR SEASON :  Saw action in 10 games off the bench....spent the season listed as the No. 2 guard...585-pound squat is tied for the best on the team.

2008 • JUNIOR SEASON:  Started seven of 12 games at guard in his first year in the program.

PRIOR TO UTC:  Transferred to Chattanooga after one season at Feather River College in Quincy, Calif...earned second team All-Nor Cal honors as a sophomore...spent his freshman season at UNLV.

HIGH SCHOOL:  All-state offensive and defensive lineman and a 2005 graduate from Cimmarron-Memorial High School in Las Vegas, Nev...played for head coach Ron Smeltzer...all-conference selection each of his last two seasons...first team all-state defensive line and second team all-state on the offensive line as a senior...two-time conference champion and state placer in wrestling...earned the Clark County Teachers Association Scholarship...earned the U.S. Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award. 

PERSONAL:  Full name is Bryce Walter Garcia...born May 13, 1987...son of Mike and Carolyn Garcia...has a younger brother, Aaron, and an older brother, Brandon...father wrestled for UNLV...majoring in Psychology.
