CHATTANOOGA:  First junior college student-athlete to join the Mocs since the arrival of Coach Huesman in 2009 ... played in all 27 games in 2014 & 2015.

2015 • SENIOR SEASON: Played in all 13 games ... most of his action was on special teams ... made eight tackles ... made the A.D. Honor Roll in the spring.  

2014 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in all 14 games, including six starts at corner … finished with 15 tackles overall.

PRIOR TO UTC:  Transfer from Pasadena City College in Pasadena, Calif. ... started his career at Ole Miss in 2011 ... first team All-Dade County quarterback as a senior at Booker T. Washington High School in Miami, Fla., in 2010 ... completed 169-230 passes for 2,785 yards and 28 TDs as a senior ... also ran for 288 yards and seven TDs ... ran track and lettered in basketball.

PERSONAL:  Son of Cassandra Johnson and Samuel Hay ... born Dec. 12, 1992 ... has a younger sister, Kayla, and three younger brothers, Isaac, Roc and Jah ... has a five-year-old son Jamar ... Criminal Justice major.
