2015 • FRESHMAN SEASON:  Member of the scout team.

2014 • REDSHIRT SEASON:  Sat out the year as a redshirt … made the Dean’s List and the A.D. Honor Roll in the spring.

PRIOR TO UTC:  Four-year letterwinner at Chattanooga’s Baylor School ... played for head coach Phil Massey ... member of the National Honor Society and the Honor Roll ... also lettered in basketball.

PERSONAL:  Full name is Dakota Steven Nix … born March 29, 1996 … son of Steve and Sherry Nix … father played football at UTC ... grandfather is former UTC head coach Buddy Nix ... mother played golf at UTC … Communications major.
