Prior to Chattanooga
- Played for Brian Coleman at Summit High School in the mid-state area...2-time all-region pick.
- Recorded more than 100 tackles over his final two years for the Spartans with 21 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.
- 39 QB pressures with 23 as a senior...broke up 10 passes as a senior and forced three fumble with one recovery as a junior.
- Also lettered in basketball...final college choice came between Chattanooga, UAB and SEMO.

- Son of Keith and Kendra Bell...has an older sister, India Hawkins, and younger brother, Keith.
