- Appeared in 10 games in his first season with five starts, all during conference play…36 total tackles on the season including a half tackle for loss at Nicholls (Nov. 15)...one PBU and one fumble recovery.
- Debuted against Alcorn State (Aug. 28)...first start was at Southeastern Louisiana (Oct. 18).
- Career-high 10 stops against Lamar (Oct. 25) along with a fumble recovery...made two or more tackles in each of the final six games of the season and four or more in five of the six…had one pass breakup at Southeastern Louisiana.

Prior to 4-year College
- Played two seasons at Coahoma Community College...second-team preseason All-American ahead of his sophomore season...finished his sophomore season with 34 tackles (one for loss), two interceptions, one pass breakup and a blocked kick…added a 6-yard rush and a 2-yard catch on offense.
- 34 tackles (two for loss), one interception and one pass breakup as a freshman.
- Graduated with a 3.0 grade point average.
- 4-year letterman for the Bartlett Panthers...first-team all-state and all-region as a senior, intercepting six passes and helping Bartlett post an 11-3 record…added a 99-yard kick return and a field goal on special teams.
- Switched to cornerback as a junior and intercepted three passes while making 21 tackles…lettered as a wide receiver as a freshman and sophomore, catching 15 passes for 321 yards as a freshman.
