Last week, we told you about cleaning out the "Junk Drawer" with our first edition of the summer's #TBT photo gallery.  We hope to have a gallery of old photos posted on the Mocs' facebook page each week, featuring some lost shots of memorable games from the past.

This week, the "Junk Drawer" gives us three pages of negatives from UTC's game against North Carolina on Nov. 28, 1983.  Everyone remembers Michael Jordan and the Tar Heels coming to the Roundhouse following their national championship win on Dec. 21, 1982, but not much is said about the return trip to Chapel Hill the following season. 

UTC legends Willie White, Stanford Strickland and Gerald Wilkins went up against Jordan, Sam Perkins, Kenny Smith and Brad Daugherty in Carmichael Auditorium.  The Mocs hung tough with the top-ranked Tar Heels for most of the game before UNC pulled away for an 85-63 victory.

Wilkins led Chattanooga with 19 points, while White added 12 and Strickland 11.  Clifford Morgan came off the bench for 10 points.  Jordan led UNC with 28.  Perkins added 16 points and Matt Dougherty had 14.
