GAMEDAY: Mocs at Stetson

Chattanooga travels to Florida to take on Stetson Wednesday evening for its third game this season. This will be the Mocs second road game of the season and the second of six in November over a 15-day stretch.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs started the season 0-2 for the first time since the 2010-11 season. Chattanooga fell in its opener on the road at Green Bay then was edged by UCF in the fourth quarter by one point in its home opener played at Maclellan Gym. The Mocs are averaging 43.5 points and 30 rebounds per game. UTC leads the SoCon in 3-point field goal percentage making 10-of-25 (40%) and rebounding defense, allowing opponents just 32 per game. 

Aryanna Gilbert, with back-to-back double-digit games, leads the Mocs with 11 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. She is shooting 50 percent from the field, 4-of-6 from the 3-point line and has four blocked shots. Lakelyn Bouldin is second on the team in scoring with 11 points per game. She is 4-of-4 from the free throw line and averages 3.5 rebounds per game. Keiana Gilbert ranks third on the team in scoring (7.0 ppg) and second for rebounding with six per game. She has five assists, two steals and four blocked shots - all against UCF.

ABOUT STETSON
The Hatters are 1-1 on the season with a win over Thomas and a loss at No. 2 Texas. The Hatters lead the ASun with a 54.7 field goal shooting percentage and are second in the league with 73.5 points per game. Stetson averages 30 rebounds per game have allowed an average of 41 through two games.

Kennedi Colclough leads the team with 18.5 points and six rebounds per game and is shooting 75%. Brittney Chambers is second on the team in scoring averaging 13.5 points followed by Michelle Pruitt at 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. McKenna Beach is the fourth Stetson player averaging double figures with 10 points per game. The Hatters are 8-of-26 from the 3-point line, shooting 30.8 percent from long range.

CHATTANOOGA vs. STETSON
The Mocs have won both meetings between the two teams. Last year the Mocs had four players in double figures led by Jasmine Joyner with 19 points, eight rebounds and eight assists in a 66-55 win. Queen Alford had a team-high 11 rebounds with Chelsey Shumpert dropping in 15 points with two 3-pointers. Keiana Gilbert was 6-of-12 against the Hatters with 13 points, two assists, one steal and one blocked shot. Lakelyn Bouldin was 4-of-9 from the field with two 3-pointers, a pair of free throws for 12 points. She dished out five assists and had two steals.

The Mocs shot 44.1 percent for the game and scored 18 points off 13 turnovers. UTC beat out Stetson on the boards 36-27 with 16 points on 17 offensive rebounds.
