The Chattanooga women's basketball team will take on the Indiana Hoosiers Monday night at Assembly Hall.

CHATTANOOGA vs. INDIANA
This will be the third meeting between the Mocs and Hoosiers in the last three years. The first game was in the Preseason WNIT in 2015. Indiana came away with a 54-43 victory. Last year, the Hoosiers, ranked 24th in the AP Top 25, eeked out a 79-76 win at the McKenzie Arena.
 
ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs beat Presbyterian Saturday to get their first win of the season and are 1-3 on the year. UTC averages 56.2 points per game and is shooting 40.4 percent from the field. From beyond the arc, the Mocs rank second in the SoCon making 40 percent of its attempts. Chattanooga is second in the league for free throws, making 39-of-49 from the charity stripe. On the boards, the Mocs are atop the SoCon, holding foes to 30.3 rebounds per game while pulling down 31 each outing.
 
Aryanna Gilbert has scored in double figures in all four games and leads the Mocs with 12.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Keiana Gilbert had a season-high 24 points at Stetson and is second on the team in scoring with 11.8 points per game. She has a team-high eight blocked shots and has 2.5 assists per game. Lakelyn Bouldin, third on the team in scoring with 11.3 points per game, had a career-high 21 points against Presbyterian with four 3-pointers. Over the last two games, Molly Melton has recorded seven steals, ranking fourth in the conference.
 
ABOUT INDIANA
The Hoosiers are 3-0 on the year and used a last second layup to get a two-point victory over Western Kentucky in their last outing. Indiana averages 76.7 points per game and averages a 19.7 point per game advantage. From the field IU is shooting 45.8 percent, but is making just 29.3 percent from the 3-point line and 67.1 percent from the free throw line. On the boards, Indiana has outrebounded opponents 48.3-34.0 (14.3 per game). The Hoosiers average 4.3 blocked shots per game and eight steals.
 
Tyra Buss, with the last second layup, leads Indiana with 24.3 points per game. She is 6-of-19 from the 3-point line and 23-of-32 from the free throw line. She has a team-high 20 assists and eight steals. Amanda Cahill is averaging a double-double with 13.7 points and 11.7 rebounds per game. Kym Royster is the third Hoosier in double figures with 13.7 points per game, shooting 63.3 percent from the field and is second on the team with nine rebounds per game.
