Mocs earned their third straight win and second over a Big 10 team with a victory over Northwestern Friday on the opening night of the Challenge in Music City to move to 3-3 on the year. The Mocs are averaging 58.3 points and 32.2 rebounds per game. UTC leads the Southern Conference in 3-point field goal percentage, making 40.2 percent of its attempts, and rebounding defense, holding opponents to just 31.7 per game. Chattanooga also leads the SoCon in 3-point field goals made with 6.5 per game. Twice the Mocs have hit for nine treys in a game.

Molly Melton leads the SoCon in 3-point field goal percentage and is fifth in the league for steals with 2.2 per game.

ABOUT GEORGETOWN
The Hoyas fell 60-40 to Auburn in their opening game of the Challenge in Music City. Georgetown is 2-2 on the year with wins over Howard and Loyola. They average 64.8 points and 41.8 rebounds per game. The Hoyas are shooting 36.7 percent from the field and 31.9 percent from the 3-point line.

Dionna White leads the team with 17 points. She has nine rebounds per game, 14 assists, 14 steals and is 11-of-14 from the free throw line. Mikayla Venson is second on the team in scoring with 12.8 points per game with a team-high 11 3-pointers.
