CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team will conclude the regular season with a Wednesday road match at ETSU before hosting Wofford on Friday inside Maclellan Gymnasium. Both matches are slated for a 6 p.m. first serve.

The road match at ETSU on Wednesday will be broadcasted LIVE on ESPN3 and is also available on the WatchESPN app.

Chattanooga enters the contest with a 13-15 overall record and a 6-8 mark in SoCon play. The Mocs currently sit in sixth place in the SoCon standings with two matches left in the regular season.

ETSU holds a 15-10 overall, 11-3 record in conference play and sits a match behind Furman (12-2) for the top spot in the standings. Wofford carries an 18-10 overall mark and is currently fourth in the SoCon behind an 8-6 record.

The Mocs are coming off a tough weekend where they dropped a pair of five set matches on the road to Mercer and Samford. UTC is now 1-7 overall this season in decisive set matches with six of those losses coming in SoCon action.

Miranda Elpers led the offense over the weekend with 33 kills at a .255 attacking percentage in ten sets played. She finished with 20 kills at a .278 clip against Mercer and added 22 digs on defense.

Madison Bergren posted 75 assists in the two matches last weekend, surpassing 1,000 career assists at UTC since transferring in 2015. She is closing in on 2,000 career collegiate assists after adding in her 935 total at UT-Martin in 2014.

Elpers led the defense in total digs with 37 in ten sets while
Megan Kaufman followed with 26 digs. The duo of
Emily Plumlee and
Dani Szczepanski each totaled 7.0 blocks over the weekend and lead the Mocs this season with 99.0 and 73.0 total blocks, respectively.

The Terriers are coming off a pair of losses to Western Carolina and UNCG in the midst of their five-match road trip to end the regular season. They opened that trip with a win over The Citadel before concluding it with trips to UTC and ETSU.

The Terriers are led by sophomore Catie Cronister who leads the SoCon with 462 kills and a 4.44 kills per set average while also pacing the league in aces with a 0.52 per set average. Wofford ranks third in the conference with a 12.95 kills per set mark as a team.
