SENIOR DAY
The Mocs will honor seniors Queen Alford, Moses Johnson, Jasmine Joyner and Sydney Vanlandingham afer their game against Wofford at the Roundhouse.
 
CHATTANOOGA vs. WOFFORD
Chattanooga is 45-2 against Wofford since the Terriers joined the Southern Conference in 1995. The Mocs have won the last 39 straight games against Wofford. The Terriers' two wins over the Mocs were in the 1998 and 1999 Southern Conference Tournament. At home Chattanooga is 21-0 against Wofford and 21-0 on the road. In neutral games, UTC holds a slight edge at 3-2 and are 2-0 in overtime. In the game between the two earlier this season in Spartanburg, UTC came away with a 71-61 victory.
 
ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs returned to the top of the Southern Conference standings after defeating Furman Thursday night. UTC is 17-10 on the year and tied with Mercer for the SoCon lead with an 11-2 league record.
 
Chattanooga is averaging 61.8 points per game, outscoring opponents by 3.2 ppg. UTC leads the SoCon in shooting making 42.8 percent of its shots and average 5.9 3-point field goals per game. The Mocs are also leading the conference from the free throw line, shooting .753 (292-388). On the boards, UTC is averaging 34.1 rebounds per game and lead the SoCon with 6.2 blocked shots per game. With 14 games with 10 or fewer personal fouls committed, UTC leads the nation in fewest per game.
 
Jasmine Joyner leads the nation with 4.1 blocked shots per game and is ranked in the top 25 for rebounds per game. She is the only player in the SoCon averaging a double-double with 12.6 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. She has 12 double-doubles on the year and seven in the last eight games. She grabbed her fourth straight this week with 15 points and 15 rebounds against Furman.
 
Chelsey Shumpert is second on the team in scoring with 10.9 points per game and has 43 3-pointers on the year and leads the league from the free throw line shooting 82.7 percent from the charity stripe. Lakelyn Bouldin has a team-best 53 3-pointers and is third on the team in scoring with 10.1 points per game.
 
ABOUT WOFFORD
Under first-year head coach Jimmy Garrity, the Terriers are 13-15 overall and 3-10 in SoCon play after edging ETSU 54-52 in Johnson City, Tenn., Thursday night. After starting league play with back-to-back wins over Western Carolina and UNCG, the Terriers dropped the next 10 before beating the Bucs this week.
 
Wofford is averaging 62.7 points per game but is outscored by half a point by its opponents. The Terriers are shooting 41.5 percent from the field, 33.2 percent from beyond the 3- point line and 70 percent from the free throw line. On the boards, Wofford is averaging 36.9 rebounds per game and give up 36.2.
 
Chloe Wanink had a game-high 27 points in the Terriers win over ETSU and leads her team in scoring with 16 points per game and 56 3-pointers on the year. Maria Corella is third on the team in scoring with 9.8 points per game and has 49 3-pointers this season. Grayson Pinholster leads the SoCon in field goal percentage making 52.8 percent of her shots and is fourth on the team with 8.4 points per game and has a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game. Kentra Washington was averaging 11.9 points per game before an injury ended her season after 15 games.
