- The Mocs scored an 85-41 win over Western Carolina in the quarterfinals of the SoCon Tournament today. UTC improves to 19-10 overall while WCU drops to 8-22.Â
- UTC opened up a 30-8 lead after the first quarter. It is the most points in a quarter for the Mocs this season. Chattanooga shot 12-16 (75%) from the field and 4-6 (66.7%) from 3-pt. range.
- Mocs led 49-15 at the half … most points scored in the first half since putting up 50 in an 82-63 win over UNCG at home on Feb. 1, 2010 … most points in any half since scoring 52 in the second half in an 86-53 win at UNCG on Dec. 14, 2013.
- 15 points in the first half are the fewest allowed by UTC since holding a 27-13 lead against Samford on Feb. 23, 2016 … Mocs won that game 53-30.
- This is UTC's 13
th-straight win at the SoCon Tournament … last loss was 77-52 to Appalachian State in the 2012 semifinals … the Mocs have not lost their first game of the tournament since a 55-50 setback against ETSU on March 3, 2005, in Maclellan Gym. Â
- The 85 points are the most for the Mocs since scoring 86 at UNCG on Dec. 14, 2013.Â
- 41 points at the fewest allowed by UTC since the Samford game in 2016 mentioned above.
- 22 assists for the Mocs are the most in a game since 11 at Western Carolina on Feb. 16, 2015.Â
- Turnovers were 14/15 in favor of UTC, but the Mocs held a 23-5 advantage in points-off-turnovers. Â

Nakeia Burks – So.-G
- Career-highs with eight points and six boards.
- 2-5 from the field, 1-2 from 3-pt. range and 3-4 from the FT line.

- Tied a career-high with 14 points.
- Shot 4-5 from the field, 2-3 from 3-pt. range and 4-4 from the FT line.
- Added three boards in 14 minutes.
- Second game in double-figures this season.

Jasmine Joyner – Sr.-F
- Tied for game-high with 14 points.
- Shot 6-11 from the field and 2-2 from the FT line.
- Game-high nine boards breaks a streak of five-straight double-doubles.
- Added five blocks, three assists and two steals in 26 minutes.Â
- Came into the game leading the nation in blocked shots (4.11).
- 1,283 career points passes Jennifer Wilson (2000-03) and Lisa Porter (1980-83) for 14
th on the Mocs' all-time list.
- 423 blocks passes Genia Miller (Cal State Fullerton – 1988-91) and Kailyn Williams (Bethune-Cookman – 2014-Present) for eighth on the NCAA all-time list.Â
