CHATTANOOGA vs. SAMFORD
Chattanooga and Samford began competition in 1998. In the six meetings before the Bulldogs joined the SoCon, the Mocs won five games. This will be the 28 time the two team face off. UTC is 20-7 all-time against Samford and 13-5 in SoCon regular season play and 2-1 in the league tournament.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
Chattanooga is 12-7 overall and 3-2 in Southern Conference action. The Mocs have lost two of its last three games on the road at ETSU and Furman. UTC is 17th in the NCAA for scoring defense and first in the SoCon, allowing opponents just 55.6 points per game. The Mocs have held opponents to less than 60 points 13 times this season. UTC has held foes to a 27.0 percent effort from beyond the 3-point line, ranking 15th in the nation and second in the league. The Mocs lead the Southern Conference in 3-point shooting, averaging 6.1 per game. UTC is second in the league in 3-point field goal percentage (.355) and is 58th in the NCAA.

Keiana Gilbert posted back-to-back 20-point games and leads the team with 14.3 points per game and after a double-double against the Paladins, has 6.1 rebounds per game.
Aryanna Gilbert is second on the team with 13.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. She has 25 3-pointers and leads the league with from the free throw line making 90.7 percent of her attempts.
Lakelyn Bouldin is the third UTC player in double figures with 12.6 per game. She scored 20 points in the Mocs' last outing with five 3-pointers. She is ranked 28
th in the nation making 86.7 percent from the free throw line. She has a team-high 41 from beyond the arc.

ABOUT SAMFORD
The Bulldogs posted back-to-back wins over Western Carolina and UNCG last week to improve to 10-10 overall and 2-3 in league play. Samford is averaging 58.5 points per game, but is outscored by nearly four points per game. They are shooting 39.3 percent from the field and average 6.0 3-pointers per game.

Samford's leading scorer Hannah Nichols missed the last two games but is expected to come off the bench Thursday. She has a team-best 14.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Olivia Crozier is the only other Bulldog averaging double figures with 10.2 points per game. She is shooting 56 percent from the field and has 5.5 rebounds per game. Nichols leads her team with 35 3-pointers and has 21 blocked shots. Charity Brown has 127 assists this season and is third on the team in scoring with 7.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
