The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Chattanooga Fall Invite today.  The Mocs had another strong round of competition, posting wins in six of 10 matches. 

UTC won two of three doubles, led by senior Delaney Edwards and sophomore Emma Van Hee's victory at No. 1 over UT Martin.  Senior Caroline Hall and freshman Polina Goloputova also scored a win at No. 3 over the Skyhawks. 

"Doubles was great," stated head coach Chad Camper.  "I don't think I could have been any happier with doubles the whole tournament.  It was really our focus and I was glad to see us get some wins. 

"I thought singles was OK.  I though a couple of spots were tough but it was good to see Anna win her second match.  Delaney had a nice win and Bogdana played one of the better matches of the year."

Freshman Anna Didkovskaya posted a (6-0, 6-4) win over Jacksonville State's Cristina Moll at No. 7, while Edwards scored a three set win over the Gamecocks' Elena Tendero [1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (9)].  Sophomore Bogdana Zaporozhets defeated JSU's Malin Buecher (6-0, 6-3) at No. 3. 

UTC now turns its attention to the classroom for the rest of the fall semester.  The Mocs will be back on the court in the spring.  Be sure to check back to GoMocs.com in the coming weeks for the release of the spring dual schedule.
