CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team will host fifth-ranked Louisville Friday night at the McKenzie Arena. The game is set to tip off at 7:00 p.m. and tickets are available for the all-reserved seating event.

MOCS vs. LOUISVILLE
Chattanooga leads the series 5-3. After winning the first five meetings, the Cardinals have taken the last three including two in the 2016-17 season. UTC's biggest win over UofL was in 1981 when the Cardinals were ranked 20^th. Chattanooga beat them at home 108-72. In Jeff Walz first season, Louisville participated in the Mocs Invitational and won the tournament. UTC fell to Louisville in the 2016 at the KFC Yum! Center in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tournament and then again in the first round of the NCAA tournament that same season.
 
ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs came away with a 61-55 victory in the season opener against Lee University Tuesday night at home. Lakelyn Bouldin led three Chattanooga players in double figures with 13 points. Brooke Burns, with 10 points, had a game-high seven rebounds and Arianne Whitaker added 10 points and a game-best four blocked shots.
 
The Mocs shot 46.7 percent for the game had 33 rebounds. After 11 first half miscues, the Mocs had just six in the second half and dished out 14 assists for the game. The Mocs grabbed six steal and had six blocked shots. UTC forced the Lady Flames into 16 turnovers and converted that into 17 points. UTC had 36 bench points and got 19 from the bench.
 
ABOUT LOUISVILLE
The Cardinals were voted fifth in the Associated Press preseason poll and fourth by the coaches in the USA Today poll to start the year.  Asia Durr scored 33 points in three quarters to help Louisville beat Western Kentucky 102-80 on Tuesday night and get coach Jeff Walz his 300th career win. The Cardinals used a 26-2 run in the last six minutes of the third quarter to lead by 34 points. Louisville had 10 different scorers with Walz emptying the bench in the fourth quarter.
