The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis match at USC Upstate had been cancelled due to the threat of rain in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday. That leaves the Mocs with just Sunday's home match against UT-Martin on the slate for the weekend.
Chattanooga hosts the Skyhawks at Manker-Patten at 4:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Feb. 11.
"We are still trying to find our lineups in doubles and singles," stated head coach
Chad Camper. "The team is coming together and we look forward to the challenge Sunday.
"UT Martin is strong up top and they are a unified and loud team, so we need to come out playing our best tennis right away."
The Mocs are 3-1 overall, with wins against Belmont, Lipscomb and Austin Peay. Their lone loss was at Alabama last weekend. UTM has an 0-3 record, including a 7-0 loss to Memphis and two losses to Tennessee.
UTC has a 6-2 all-time record against the Skyhawks. The posted a 4-0 win in the last meeting in Martin, Tenn., on March 16, 2016.
Admission is always free to UTC's home tennis matches. Be sure to check back to GoMocs.com for a full recap of the action.
