The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team opened the 2018 fall season at the Austin Peay Invite in Clarksville, Tenn., today.  The Mocs won three doubles and two singles matches on the opening day.

Senior Delaney Edwards and sophomore Bogdana Zaporozhets advanced to the semifinals for the Flight A doubles with two wins. 

They opened with a 6-1 victory against Southeast Missouri State's Romana Tarajova and Manuela Barriga.  The UTC duo remained unbeaten with a 6-3 win against UT Martin's Amelia Campbell and Andrew Cortes. 

Freshman Polina Goloputova and sophomore Emma Van Hee both made it to the quarterfinals of the Flight B singles draw.  They both had first round byes and both won in straight sets in the second round.
