CHATTANOOGA --- After claiming the Chattanooga Classic title last weekend with a trio of wins, the Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team will head to Tennessee Tech on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. ET non-conference matchup in Cookeville.

Chattanooga improved to 4-2 this season after last weekend's Classic. Tennessee Tech will enter the match with a 4-3 mark in 2018. TTU owns the all-time series record 15-3.

The Mocs claimed four-set wins over UNC Asheville and Tennessee State to set up a championship match with North Alabama last weekend. UTC downed UNA in a five-set thriller to earn its third Chattanooga Classic title in the last four seasons.

Junior
Dani Szczepanski was dominant over the weekend in route to earning the tournament's Most Outstanding Player honor. She finished the 13 sets with 44 kills at a blistering .527 hitting percentage while adding eight service aces.

Szczepanski tied a career-high 16 kills on a .714 percentage while adding a career-high five service aces in Friday's win over UNC Asheville. She upped that performance on Saturday, notching 20 kills on a .731 hitting percentage setting a new program record in hitting percentage with 20+ kills.

Sophomore
Megan Kaufman and freshman
Jaquelyn Langhaim also earned all-tournament laurels over the weekend. Kaufman led the team with 59 digs at a 4.54 per set average and posted four service aces. Langhaim was a true dual threat at the setter position, totaling 31 kills at a .333 percentage while leading the team with 78 assists.

Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles (4-3)
Tennessee Tech enters Tuesday's contest with a 4-3 record, dropping its last two matches after starting the season 4-1. TTU earned two wins each at the Leatherneck Invitational hosted by Western Illinois and their own Golden Eagle Invitational in Cookeville. They suffered a sweep to East Carolina on Saturday.

Freshman outside hitter Erica Grant leads the team in kills (93), total attacks (257), points (109.0) and service aces (9) while ranking second in digs (74). Senior libero Kirsten Brugere anchors the defense with a team-high 122 digs while senior setter Susie Jeziorowski directs the offense with 291 total assists (10.78 per set).
