MOCS vs. FURMAN
This will be the 77th meeting between the two programs dating back to the start of women's basketball in the Southern Conference in 1985. Chattanooga is 52-24 against the Paladins but Furman has won three of the last four meetings including both last season. At home the Mocs hold a 24-10 advantage and are 45-23 in the SoCon regular season.
 
CHATTANOOGA
Probable starters: Bria Dial (3.1 ppg, 2.6 rpg); Morgan Hill (4.9 ppg, 1.2 rpg); Brooke Burns (7.7 ppg, 3.1 rpg); Rochelle Lee (4.6 ppg, 2.6 rpg); Lakelyn Bouldin (13.0 ppg, 3.9 rpg).
 
The Mocs are 7-10 overall and 2-0 in SoCon action with back-to-back wins over ETSU and Wofford.
 
Offense: The Mocs scored a season-high 89 points in their win over Wofford and average 61.5 points per game. Chattanooga is shooting 39.1 percent from the field and 33 percent from beyond the arc. Lakelyn Bouldin scored a season-high 26 points against the Terriers and leads UTC with 13.0 points per game and has a team-best 28 3-pointers. Eboni Williams had a career-high 19 points in the win and is second on the team in scoring with 8.1 points per game. Brooke Burns is third on the team with 7.7 points per game after tying her season-high with 16 points against Wofford. Burns and Bouldin combined for 12 assists in the win with Burns dishing out a career-best seven.
 
Defense: Chattanooga allows 68 points per game and has 34.5 boards. The Mocs snared a season-high 47 against Wofford and averages 5.5 steals and is second in the SoCon with 3.1 blocked shots per game. Eboni Williams has a team-best 5.3 rebounds per game and Lakelyn Bouldin, with a career-high 12 against the Terriers, is second on the team on the boards with 3.9 per game. Molly Melton has a team-best 23 steals and Arianne Whitaker leads the conference with 1.4 blocked shots per game.
 
FURMAN
Probable starters: Milica Manojlovic (2.9 ppg, 2.3 rpg); Le'Jzae Davidson (17.2 ppg, 2.8 rpg); Tyah Hunter (1.6 ppg, 1.8 rpg); Kaitlyn Duncan (6.9 ppg, 7.2 rpg); Celena Taborn (13.7 ppg, 5.4 rpg).
 
The Paladins are 10-8 on the year 2-1 against the league. Furman opened the season with wins over UNCG and Western Carolina but fell at ETSU on Wednesday.
 
Offense: The Paladins average 66.1 points per game, second best in the SoCon, and are shooting 42 percent from the field. Furman leads the SoCon in free throw shooting, making 73.9 percent from the charity stripe and have 86 long range makes. Le'Jzae Davidson leads the Paladins with 17.2 points per game and has a team-high 46 3-pointers. Celena Taborn leads the SoCon in field goal percentage, making 70.4 percent of her attempts and is second on the team in scoring with 13.2 points per game. Jarya Outten has a team-high 53 assists of the Paladins 231.
 
Defense: Furman is averaging 38.1 rebounds per game and leads the Southern Conference in defensive rebounding and blocked shots. Kaitlyn Duncan and Tierra Hodges lead Furman with 7.1 rebounds per game apience. Hodges has missed seven games due to a foot injury. Duncan has a team-best 24 blocked shots. Celena Taborn averages 5.4 boards per game and has 17 blocked shots.
