Senior Will Porter and the Chattanooga Mocs face their fifth and final test of the fall slate beginning Sunday at the Easy Bay Deli Classic.

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team ends a hectic run to the finish of the fall slate this weekend at the East Bay Deli Class at Turtle Point. The Mocs are one of 22 teams vying for the title at Turtle Point Golf Club on Kiawah Island in South Carolina.
It's a whirlwind finish for the Mocs with the culmination of a 10-day, 108-hole stretch. The squad made a small tweak to the lineup after a sixth-place ending Monday at the Grandover Collegiate.
Sophomore Leon Bader is in the starting lineup after tying for seventh at Grandover as an individual. He opened with 68 before closing with 73 and 78. His 219 total tied for the fifth-best 54-hole score by a Moc this season.
He's joined by Will Porter, Matt Smith, Connor Nolan and Oliver Simonsen. All four also rank in the top 5 scores of the fall with Porter (-7, 206, Alister Mackenzie), Smith (-2, 211, Alister Mackenzie), Simonsen (-2, 211, Alister Mackenzie) and Nolan (#, 216, Graeme McDowell) registering par or better on the list.
Three individuals are also on the trip as each available man on the roster tackles Turtle Point. Moritz Lammel, who started the first four team tourneys, Dominic Jones and A.J. Lintunen get their shot for a final impression before the 13-week break.
It's a three-day, 54-hole journey with tee times and scores, when available, accessible at the scoring link above.

3 NOTES TO KNOW
- All eight Mocs available for tourney play took on the field at Grandover. Four of the eight finished in the top 25 led by Leon Bader's second career top 10 (T7). The last time the Mocs had four or more in the top 25? All five in last spring's SoCon Championships. Regular season event? 2017 East Bay Deli Classic (Oct. 29-31) with four: Lake Jonson (3rd), Luke Long (T8), Andrew Weathers (T21) & Will Porter (T25). That field played at the Ocean Course.
- Leon Bader is making his first start of 2019-20 after tying for seventh as an individual last weekend at the Grandover Collegiate. He's 7 over for the season in two individual events averaging 73.40 over his five cards.
- Connor Nolan leads the Mocs in par 5 scoring. His 4.52 average equates to 21 under over 11 rounds. He was 13 under for his prior two years entering the 2019-20 campaign.
