CHATTANOOGA --- The No. 9 seed Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team gets set for an opening round matchup against No. 8 The Citadel on Tuesday night inside McAlister Field House in Charleston, S.C.
 
First serve is set for 6 p.m. ET and the match is available for streaming on ESPN+..
  
The winner of Tuesday night's match will advance to play top-seeded Samford on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. ET in Spartanburg, S.C., on the campus of Wofford.

HISTORY
- Chattanooga leads the all-time series against The Citadel 31-2 (.939) and are 13-2 (.867) under head coach Travis Filar.
- Chattanooga earned a 3-2 victory on Saturday inside Maclellan Gym after The Citadel won the season's first meeting, 3-2, in Charleston back on October 19.
 
CHATTANOOGA NOTES
- Chattanooga claimed back-to-back victories this past weekend inside Maclellan Gym for its first consecutive wins since September… battled past The Citadel, 3-2, on Friday before sweeping Wofford in straight sets on Saturday.
- The last time the Mocs won its last two regular season matches of the season heading into the SoCon Tournament came back in 2015 and 2016… both years the team advanced to the SoCon Championship match.
- Sophomore Gylian Finch enters the tournament on an offensive rip… totaled 36 kills at a combined .353% attack percentage this past weekend… also added a combined six aces, 19 digs and 4.0 total blocks.
