SEASON OPENERS
• UTC is 24-21 all-time in season openers. The Mocs are 7-11 when opening play on the road.
• Tonight will be the third season-opener against Belmont, all on the road. In 1978 the Mocs fell 58-52 to the Bruins. In 1980, Chattanooga came away with an 83-75 victory.
• Katie Burrows begins her second season as head coach.
• The Mocs return eight letterwinners from last season including all-conference performer Lakelyn Bouldin and 2019 SoCon Freshman of the Year Eboni Williams.
• UTC has three newcomers available tonight including transfer Kallie Searcy.
• Mocs defeated Lee University (DII – Gulf South) 71-55 in an exhibition contest on Oct. 29.
• Lakelyn Bouldin ranks 24^th all-time at UTC for scoring with 1,096 points.
• Chattanooga has seven sophomores on the roster.
• Mocs were picked to finish sixth by the SoCon coaches in the preseason poll. Picked to finish third by the league media.
• Lakelyn Bouldin and Eboni Williams were selected to the SoCon Preseason All-Conference Team.
