The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team hits the road to open Southern Conference action this weekend. The Mocs visit Wofford on Saturday, March 23, and Western Carolina on Sunday, March 24.

Chattanooga is 7-5 overall and trying to snap a three-match slide. Senior

Wofford is 9-5 overall and 1-1 in conference play. They dropped a 6-1 decision to ETSU at home on Thursday and beat UNCG 4-3 on March 16. The Mocs hold a 21-3 advantage in the all-time series with the Terriers, including 10 wins in a row. The last loss was a 5-2 setback in Chattanooga on April 1, 2008.
Western Carolina holds a 10-6 mark after wins over Fairleigh Dickinson (6-1), UNC Wilmington (5-2), Saint Jospeh's (6-1) and Bucknell (5-2) in Orlando, Fla., last week. The Catamounts are 0-2 in league play with losses to Mercer (2-5) and Furman (0-7). UTC is 34-0 all-time against Western Carolina in a series that dates back to 1987.
