The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team closes out the 2019 regular season with four matches at the UTC Tennis Center.  UTC's kicks off the home stretch against UNCG on Saturday, April 6, followed by a Sunday match against Furman.

First serve against the Spartans is set for Noon (E.D.T.) while the match with the Paladins starts at 11:00 a.m. Links to live scoring for both are available on the women's tennis schedule page on GoMocs.com. 

The Mocs are 8-8 overall and 1-3 in Southern Conference action.  They are coming off a 4-3 win at Mercer that snapped a six-match slide.  Senior Caroline Hall leads the team with a 10-6 mark in the spring, including a 6-1 tally at No. 3.  Senior Delaney Edwards and sophomore Emma Van Hee are 8-6 in the No. 1 doubles position. 

"After the team's win vs Mercer they are feeling confident going into this weekend," stated UTC head coach Chad Camper.  "The focus has been improving and coming together as a program and we are pursuing this every day."

UNCG is 8-10 overall and in tied for third in the SoCon race at 2-3.  The Mocs are 11-12 in the all-time series with the Spartans, including wins in fie of the last six meetings.  UNCG won last year's match 4-3 in Greensboro on April 14. 

Furman travels to Samford on Friday before coming to UTC on Sunday.  The Paladins are tied with ETSU atop the league standings at 4-0, and they are 20-1 overall.  They are ranked 45^th in the nation according to the ITA, while Katarina Kozarov is 69^th in singles and teams with Julia Adams for a No. 71 ranking in doubles. 

Chattanooga is 8-36 all-time against Furman.  The Mocs lone win in the series since 1997 was a 4-3 victory at home on March 29, 2015.
