Take Five with Brooke Hampel

The Chattanooga women's basketball summer series: "Take Five" will introduce fans to the 2019-20 roster.

Brooke Hampel's history with Chattanooga goes back years to summer camp.

"I came here for camp and I thought that I really liked this school," she said. "I chose UMKC, but I decided to come back here. Of all the places that recruited me, this was the one that made the most impact on me. I couldn't get it out of my head."

She came back to Chattanooga for an official visit.

"I met the staff and love all their energy."

Brooke is from Hazel Green, Ala. As a young child, she played the piano.

"My family is a singing family, musically inclined," she said. "I did piano concerts, but had to stop because of basketball."
