Game Day Promotions Announced for Mocs Football

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team announced its Game Day Promotions for the 2019 season today. All of the single-game and season-long festivities are detailed on the promotions page, www.GoMocs.com/Promotions.
This year's season-long activities include traditions like the Moc Walk, the Fan Zone on Reggie White Blvd. and T-shirt tosses during the game. The Mocs are also giving away 3,000 Thundersticks for each game, courtesy of courtesy of the Tennessee Department of Forestry.
Don't forget the Papa John's Mocs Win, You Win promotion. The Monday after each Mocs victory, fans receive a 50% discount on online orders at greater Chattanooga area Papa John's locations. Use code MOCS50 to redeem.
The home opener set for Thursday, Aug. 29 against Eastern Illinois is presented by the UTC Center for Student Wellbeing. The first game of the Rusty Wright era is also Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night, Athletics Academic Night and the Mocs Flock Finley.
UTC welcomes second-ranked James Madison on Sept. 21 for Family Weekend. Fall Family Weekend is the ideal opportunity for families to spend time with their student, explore Chattanooga and enjoy a weekend of great events that showcase what UTC has to offer. Learn more information about Fall Family Weekend. Also included with this game are Youth Sports Day and a Cheer & Dance Youth Clinic.
Homecoming is set for Sept. 28 against Western Carolina and is presented by First Bank. This is a Blue Out with all fans encouraged to wear their blue UTC gear. The Mocs Club is holding special events for Chattanooga letterwinners, including recognizing the championship teams from the 1979-80, 1989-90, 1999-00, and 2009-10 season. The second Thursday night game of the season is Oct. 17 against ETSU and is presented by Erlanger Sports Medicine. This one is a White Out and First Responders Night. Chattanooga Athletics is grateful to all of the local heroes for keeping the community safe and will be honoring first responders with special ticket availability and in-game elements.
The Mocs host No. 19 Furman on Nov. 2, presented by the Iron Workers Local 704. This is Hamilton County Education Day and Band Day with the Marching Mocs.
The season finale is the traditional Military Appreciation Day against The Citadel on Nov. 16 and is presented by the Gary W. Rollins College of Business. Along with Senior Day festivities, it is also Girl Scout Day and the Scrappy Kid's Club Benefit Game.
