CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team will host Tennessee Tech Friday afternoon at the McKenzie Arena. The game was postponed from November 29 due to COVID-19 issues.

CHATTANOOGA VS. TENNESSEE TECH
This will be the 24th meeting between the Mocs and Golden Eagles. UTC is 5-18 in the series with its last win in 1996 by two points at home. This will be the 12th meeting in Chattanooga where all five of the Mocs' victories occurred.
 
THE LAST MEETING
Chattanooga and Tennessee Tech last met in 2005 at the Las Vegas Thanksgiving Tournament. The Golden Eagles came away with an 82-67 victory over UTC.
 
ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs are off to a 0-2 start of a delayed season. They are averaging 66 points per game and shooting 38.1 percent. Bria Dial is leading UTC in scoring with 13 points per game and Amaria Pugh is second with 9.0 points per game and a team-best six rebounds an outing. Eboni Williams is third on the team in scoring with eight points per game and four boards. Ruona Uwusiaba is contributing on offense with 7.0 points and Abbey Corenlius is pulling down 5.5 boards per game.
 
ABOUT TENNESSEE TECH
The Golden Eagles have had delays to the start of the season and will open with the Mocs. TTU is senior-laden Kesha Brady, Jordan Brock, Abby Buckner, Megan Clark and Mackenzie Coleman. Brock reached 1,000 points in the OVC tournament last year and is closing on the school-record for career 3-pointers, one held by a TTU assistant coach. Brady is also closing in on 1,000 points for her collegiate career. Junior transfer Anna Jones will get her first action as a Golden Eagle.
