GAME NOTES | FAN CUTOUT PROGRAM | ABOUT CHATTANOOGA BASKETBALL

CHATTANOOGA--- The Chattanooga Mocs hit the road for a tough test at Middle Tennessee. The Mocs are 3-0 coming off a 79-72 triumph over two-time defending Horizon League champs Northern Kentucky. The Blue Raiders drubbed Murray State 78-61 Thursday in their home opener.

It's the second of four games in a very busy Saturday-to-Saturday stretch for the Scenic City squad. The trip to Murfreesboro comes just before a farther trip north to Bellarmine (Wednesday) before hosting North Georgia next Saturday.

The Mocs have won pretty, ugly and gritty in the first three contests. Gritty was the most recent entry with a little pretty thrown in shooting 58.1 percent after intermission. Gritty will come in handy Monday night in Murfreesboro. Middle Tennessee allowed 60, 57 and 61 points in its first three this season.

This is the 66th meeting between the two schools. That's the 9th-longest series in school history and second longest (68-Tennessee Wesleyan) with no conference alliance at any point.
